Totally relate on the aging and confidence front. I do the same thing with comparing myself to when I was younger. It can be really painful sometimes to stumble upon old pictures or videos and be like “wow I wanna look like that again” but also it’s hard when society shoved anti-aging down our throats like you said.

I’m trying to lose weight I’m pretty overweight I’m 5’8 and am 203lbs I haven’t ran since high school lol, I just have “go on a run” in my head but the only thing that I’m thinking about is “I hope no one is looking at me” or I breathe heavy really fast

Love the candid chat Chelsea! Turning 30 in October and I totally feel you on comparing yourself to younger you 🥲. I think trying to stay grateful for who I am now helps, also having gratitude for my fitness now- I’m actually more capable than in my younger years! I’d never even run a 5k till this year. I also try to reframe my mind that aging really is a blessing, not everyone makes it to 29 unfortunately. If you end up finding a good book on confidence let us know!! Also I love the new bedding- I wonder if a monochromatic vibe with a different shade of green sheets would look good.

I think confidence is something you don't learn but you build over time. It's like being a positive person and seeing the good in everything you need to work at it every day because we always evolving and the world around us. I journal and keep a neverending list of accomplishments. They don't need to be big, it can be as simple as Today I had a meeting and I spoke so well everyone was interested in what I was saying or Today I went for a run and beat my last best time or Today I was patient with my children did not shout at them and heard them until the end. (this last one I'm still working on and it's hard <3) Adulting is hard but the secret is doing a little thing every day. I love the stages in life but my fav has been my 30s, I'm almost turning 40 and think they are going to be even better <3

I came across a post about Cindy Crawford and she said " I'm not 25, so why should I be trying to look 25?. Aging is what happens if we're lucky, it means we're alive." Granted we aren't in our 50's, but there's something to be taken from that. Aging can be scary, but there's also beauty in it. I'll be 35 soon and that is kind of hard for me, but also I'm thankful I'm still here, living. I'm looking at it as a new chapter where I get to start fresh, shed off the dead skin lol and create a new era of myself, I think I'll call it the grown and sexy lol. Not to make this about me, but I'm just saying this is a new chapter for you, and its exciting! New wardrobe, new hairstyle, and mentally I'm sure you've grown wiser. That's kinda hot right?! lol

I really appreciate you talking about aging and confidence. I have been feeling the same, looking at older videos and comparing my "youth" then and now. I try to remind myself though that right now I'm the youngest I will ever be and in 10-20 years from now I will look at my 28 year old self and I will think "wow I was young and I was beautiful". You're completely right, when we are confident and kind people we show up better. I've seen older women in their 60's, 70's who radiate beauty and elegance. I also find it really encouraging as a viewer that you're not using filters in your camera and you haven't had any work done. I of course have no issue with that but in today's world it's hard to find people to relate to. Much love for you Chelsea, you will forever be beautiful ❤

Things that helped me in my transition from my 20's to my 30's when it came to confidence - be your biggest hype man and celebrate all your wins no matter how small they are - learn to talk positively about yourself, it's awkward at first but once you start doing it, it becomes a habit and the way you view yourself starts to change. - turning 30 isn't the end of the world, even though social media loves to tell women that it's over for us once we turn 30. If anything, once I turned 30, you start to care less what other people think and what other people are doing and focus more on you. - try not to be concerned with what other people are saying about you because it's none of your business, the people that know and love you, already know who you are and those are the only opinions that should matter to you. - keep your circle small and surround yourself with women who are inspiring to you and who hype you up and celebrate you and you in turn celebrate them, relationships where there is no competition, just women supporting women. - follow social media accounts that speak to you and are inspiring to you - turn the focus away from physical appearance and turn that focus on inner work, inner work being how you view yourself, if you met yourself, would you be friends with yourself. We are more than what we look like, we all have skills and talents that make us unique and when we focus on those and draw our confidence on what's inside, we learn to love ourselves internally which will turn into loving who we are externally. Aging is such a privilege, enjoy the remainder of your 20's, it's such a fun time.

Hi Chelsea! I also find myself hyper focused on how my skin is aging. I honestly think I get insecure because I have also not had any Botox or fillers and I feel like I see a lot of it on social media so I have this certain image of what I ‘should’ look like. I try not to compare but it can be tough sometimes.
